- Leading your team with professionalism, enthusiasm and a client-centric attitude
- Drafting concise, professionally written legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing and reviewing estate planning documents
- Meeting with clients, advisors, and other professionals to design, draft and implement estate plans and strategies (via phone or virtually)
- Supervising your team (paralegal and client relations coordinator)
- Communicating with clients, financial advisors and other third parties to coordinate funding of trusts and making appropriate designations under retirement plans and insurance policies
- Other duties as assigned
- J.D. and licensing in relevant state(s)
- 3-5 years of estate planning experience
- Experience with trust administration, probates, Medicaid planning, complex and high-net-worth estates is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, estate planning drafting software, CRM software, and client management software
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills and ability to connect with clients on a personal, emotional level
- Ability to effectively manage multiple matters within predictable deadlines and exhibit exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
